On Wednesday when Scott was done with work we took a trip up the coastal highway towards San Luis Obispo.

On Thursday we packed up and left the Hartenburg’s house in Buellton and began the trek to Fresno because the main purpose of this trip was that I was scheduled to be an examiner for a C3, B, and A Pony Club certification taking place at the Fresno County Horse Park in Fresno, CA.

Jet lagged and operating on extremely minimal sleep, I managed to pop up out bed when my alarm clock went off at its ungodly hour so that I could embark on today’s adventure: foxhunting with the Santa Ynez Valley Hounds as Allyson’s guest.

It’s not often I get the opportunity to visit an active military base so when Janna mentioned that her friend Alex works at Vandenberg Space Force base I immediately asked if we could get a tour.
